Described by teachers as an imaginative child, a social butterfly and a daydreamer, Angela's parents wondered where life would take their daughter. After pursuing psychology-art-journalism-literature-education-theater and other assorted majors in college, they were even more curious. In the end, her interest in everything took her everywhere. 

The imaginative child grew up to delight in writing and graphic design.

The social butterfly enjoyed various marketing, public relations, event planning, fundraising and sales positions.

And the daydreamer loved every minute of wandering the country with Russell to create and show their collection of infrared photography. 

With the launch of Purple House Picture Framing, Angela looks forward to meeting new people and using her creativity to help customers preserve and present their beloved treasures. 

Fonzie, a.k.a. The Pug In The Purple House, serves as Director Of First Impressions. He makes sure every customer is greeted enthusiastically - and reminds us to do the same! He also scours the world to find the very best sticks for framing. (After all, who could be better at finding good sticks than a good dog?)

Russell brings solid, clearly- applicable skills to Purple House Picture Framing. This is very fortunate given the delightful hodge-podge of experience that Angela and Fonzie bring to the table. Russell's background includes:

• 20+ Years of experience owning and operating a frame shop in Tallahassee, Florida.
• 30+ Years of working as a professional, fine-art photographer. 
• 5 Years of teaching photography, photo restoration, printing and custom framing at Lively Technical College in Tallahassee.

Russell also has degrees in geography and geomorphology. His studies of extreme weather have some unexpected benefits in the frame shop. Over the years, he has had a number of hair-raising experiences while storm chasing. His ability to maintain a laser-like focus and do precision work in the midst of utter chaos is priceless. No matter what the project, he keeps a level head and a steady hand. Customers greatly appreciate this quality - and so does Angela!
