Artwork Narratives

narratives

Our basement overflows with tubs of negatives. Thousands of 'not quite what we wanted' photos stashed away because 'you never know.' Maybe someday we'll review them and discover a hidden gem we passed over the first time. But - probably not. The harsh truth about photography is that only an itty-bitty fraction of a percent of all the photographs we take will ever be added to our official collection. When we do connect with an image, there is a reason. Beyond the aesthetic qualities, it also means something to us personally. We feel a 'spiritual click' that is as important as the physical click of the shutter. These narratives are our way of sharing the the stories, thoughts and feelings that make these images special to us.
